The International Ferenc Fricsay Conducting Competition (IFFCC) is dedicated to the heritage of the legendary Hungarian conductor Ferenc Fricsay, who led the Hungarian National Symphony Orchestra Szeged for a decade.

Featuring a world-renowned jury, the IFFCC provides an exceptional platform for conductors, offering prestigious guest conducting engagements as well as very high career prospects. Its first edition in 2023 attracted wide international interest and a strong pool of participants, making a noticeable contribution to the European cultural landscape.
