Adam Stadnicki (born 1986) is a classically trained cellist educated at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen, the Conservatoire Nationale Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, and the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
As a co-founder and former member of the Copenhagen Piano Quartet, he has won several international competitions, including the International Johannes Brahms Competition, and was awarded 3rd Prize at P2’s Chamber Music Competition in 2014. With the quartet, he released the complete piano quartets of Friedrich Kuhlau on the DACAPO label.
Alongside his career as a musician, Adam pursued further studies in management at CPH Business Academy and Oxford University.
He has held several leadership positions in major symphonic institutions in Denmark and abroad: from 2015–2018 as Production Manager at the DR Symphony Orchestra, from 2018–2022 as Deputy Orchestra Director with artistic responsibility at the Royal Danish Orchestra, in 2022–23 as Orchestra Director of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and since September 2023 as CEO and Artistic Director of the Sønderjyllands Symphony Orchestra.
